FAWEZA successfully wrapped up a two-day Second Task Force Meeting on the Bridging Course, held on 27th and 28th February 2025. The meeting aimed to advance the development of a STEM Bridging Course Curriculum, designed to help marginalized young people transition into STEM education at Zambian universities.

Key outcomes included:

Presentations on the domesticated roadmap to guide the curriculum development

Collaborative group work to draft the framework for a seamlessly transition into STEM education

Feedback and adoption of critical milestones for the curriculum

Discussions on the way forward to ensure equity and inclusivity in education

This initiative represents FAWEZA’s ongoing commitment to advancing gender equity in education by ensuring that young girls and boys, particularly from vulnerable backgrounds, are empowered to access STEM education.
