FAWEZA conducted a five-day Gender-Responsive Pedagogy (GRP) training at Mukango Cresta Golfview Hotel in Lusaka, bringing together staff and key partners to strengthen inclusive teaching and learning strategies in TVET and university institutions.

The training was facilitated by Dr. Audrey Mwansa, FAWEZA Vice National Chairperson, and Mr. Luckson Malambo consultant, both of whom are among the GRP master Trainers of Trainers (TOTs) previously trained by FAWE Africa.
Participants included FAWEZA members, officials from the Directorate of Universities, TEVETA, and FAWEZA staff, who were trained as TOTs in GRP. The training equipped the participants with the knowledge and tools needed to replicate and scale up gender-responsive teaching practices within their organizations.

Key topics covered during the training included Human Rights, Gender Mainstreaming, and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), with robust discussions highlighting how these areas intersect with education.
This initiative underscored FAWEZA’s dedication to promoting gender equity in education by empowering educators and institutional leaders to create learning environments where both female and males can succeed.
