Bridging Programme Workshop Marks Milestone for Youth Empowerment in Zambia

News & Blog

The Forum for African Women Educationalists of Zambia (FAWEZA) in June convened a Bridging Programme Curriculum Drafting and Validation Workshop under the Mastercard Foundation Bursary Support Program at Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka.

The workshop brought together technocrats and academicians from various higher learning institutions, who engaged in a detailed presentation of the Needs Assessment findings. The presentation highlighted the programme’s objectives, methodologies, target groups, key insights, and proposed recommendations laying the foundation for an inclusive and impactful curriculum.

This milestone marked a critical step toward establishing an educational pathway that responds to the realities of marginalized young women and men. By equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive, the curriculum will not only empower youth and promote STEM education, but also contribute to Zambia’s sustainable development agenda.

Through such collaborative efforts, FAWEZA continues to transform the futures of Zambia’s promising young minds ensuring that no learner is left behind.
