ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPANTS FOR THE 2025 MASTERCARD FOUNDATION BURSARY SUPPORT PROGRAMME – COHORT 2

3RD July 2025 - The Forum for African Women Educationalists of Zambia (FAWEZA), in partnership with FAWE Africa and the the Mastercard Foundation, is pleased to announce the successful selection of 200 vulnerable young people to undertake STEM courses in TVET partner institutions under the 2025 Mastercard Foundation Bursary Support Programme – Cohort 2.

This year’s cohort includes 160 females and 40 males, among whom 11 are persons with disabilities and 15 refugees. This composition reflects FAWEZA’s continued commitment to advancing inclusive and gender-responsive education by reaching learners from marginalised backgrounds who are often excluded from accessing and completing tertiary education. This is FAWEZA’s contribution towards Zambia's commitment to tertiary education as articulated through various policy documents, including the National Education Policy (1996), Vision 2030, and the Eighth National Development Plan (8NDP).
