Health and Economic Empowerment

FAWEZA appreciates the linkages between education and other sectors such as health and economic empowerment. FAWEZA thus devotes to contribute towards alleviating socio-economic and political factors impending access to quality education for women and girls. Some of the contribution by FAWEZA are;

• Enhancing Financial Literacy knowledge and skills among adolescent boys and girls
• Economic Empowerment for families especially women so that they are able to support the education of their children.
• Awareness creation on heath matters including HIV/AIDS, contraceptives, VCT, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision(VMMC) and referrals to health facilities for higher impact services.
• Empowerment of various stakeholders such as teachers, District Resource Centre Coordinators and Community with various skills including financial literacy.
