The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is now accepting applications for its renowned, fully funded Master’s programmes, and you could be part of the next cohort of change-makers.

Who Should Apply?
This opportunity is open to all citizens of African countries holding a 4-year degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, or any field with a strong mathematics component. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate exceptional aptitude in mathematics, leadership potential, and a commitment to community service. Women, internally displaced persons, refugees, and persons living with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

A Fully Supported Journey
Selected students receive a comprehensive bursary covering all costs, ensuring a focus on learning. Benefits include:

Structured & Co-operative Programmes
Choose from two innovative pathways:

  2. Co-operative Master’s: A unique blend of coursework and a 6-month internship, where students solve real-world problems for industry or research partners, culminating in a report to an academic and industry panel.

Both programmes are designed to build deep technical skills and enhance professional employability and entrepreneurial thinking.
