The Forum for African Women Educationalists of Zambia (FAWEZA), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is excited to announce the opening of applications for the TEVET Bursary for the 2027 academic year!
This program aims to increase access to tertiary education through bursaries for young women and men. We are currently enrolling our fourth cohort, offering 200 bursaries (80% female and 20% male) for those interested in pursuing STEM-related courses at participating Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
Who Can Apply?

Aged between 15 and 25 years at the time of enrollment.

Completed Grade 12 (Ordinary Level Examinations).

Must have an acceptance letter for a STEM-related course for the 2027 academic year at a partner institution.

Must not be on any other bursary scheme.

Young people with disabilities and refugees can be aged between 15 and 30 years.

Note: Applicants facing social and economic barriers, including orphans, refugees, persons with disabilities, and those affected by HIV/AIDS, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Fill it out completely.

Attach certified copies of your Grade 12 results and National Registration Card (NRC), Refugee Certificate, or Disability Card.

Attach two passport-size photos.

Attach a recommendation letter from a former school, church, headman, MCDSS, UNHCR, Commissioner of Refugees, or ZAPD.

Attach a motivational letter sharing your career goals/community involvement.
